Aston Township is an established Delaware County community located between Media, Chester, and the Delaware state line. Residential neighborhoods make up much of the township, complemented by local businesses, parks, institutional uses, and commercial areas along several of the main roads running through the community.

Neumann University is one of Aston's most recognizable institutions, while nearby Routes 1 and 322 provide connections toward Media, West Chester, Chester, and Wilmington. The township also includes local recreation facilities and access to parks and open space throughout western Delaware County. Aston's location makes it a convenient point between the employment and commercial centers of both southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware.
