Bella Vista is a South Philadelphia neighborhood immediately south of Center City, known for its classic rowhomes, compact streets, neighborhood businesses, and strong connection to the city's food and market culture. Its central location places it between Washington Square West, Queen Village, Hawthorne, and East Passyunk.

The neighborhood is closely associated with the historic Italian Market along South 9th Street, where specialty grocers, restaurants, produce vendors, bakeries, and newer businesses create one of Philadelphia's most recognizable commercial corridors. South Street and the restaurants and shops of East Passyunk are also nearby.
