Carroll Park is a West Philadelphia neighborhood centered around the public park that gives the community its name. Traditional Philadelphia rowhomes line much of the area, with residential blocks extending between major corridors including Girard Avenue and Lancaster Avenue.

Carroll Park itself provides a central neighborhood green space, while nearby trolley and bus routes connect the area with University City and Center City. The neighborhood sits near Haddington, Parkside, Cathedral Park, and other sections of West Philadelphia, with Fairmount Park and the institutions and employment centers of University City accessible from the surrounding area.
