Hatfield is a Montgomery County community consisting of Hatfield Borough and portions of surrounding Hatfield Township. The area features established residential neighborhoods, local businesses, industrial and employment areas, parks, and newer development within the North Penn region.

Routes 309 and 463 provide connections toward Lansdale, Montgomeryville, Souderton, and other communities in northern Montgomery County. Parks and recreation facilities are distributed throughout the area, while nearby commercial corridors offer extensive shopping and dining. SEPTA Regional Rail service is available in neighboring communities, providing connections toward Philadelphia.
