Lower Moreland Township is a Montgomery County community along Philadelphia’s northeastern border, encompassing Huntingdon Valley and the historic community of Bryn Athyn. The township is primarily residential, with wooded neighborhoods, parks, institutional properties, and commercial areas serving the surrounding region.

Pennypack Creek and its surrounding trail network provide significant natural and recreational space. Bryn Athyn’s historic district includes distinctive architecture and cultural landmarks, while Routes 232 and 63 connect the township with Northeast Philadelphia and eastern Montgomery County. The Willow Grove and Jenkintown commercial areas are also nearby.
