Manayunk is a Northwest Philadelphia neighborhood situated along the Schuylkill River and built into the steep hills rising above it. Historic rowhomes, former mills, newer residential development, and hillside streets create one of Philadelphia’s most distinctive physical settings.

Main Street serves as the neighborhood’s central commercial corridor, lined with restaurants, shops, cafes, and businesses. The Manayunk Canal Towpath and Schuylkill River Trail provide recreation along the river, while SEPTA Regional Rail connects the neighborhood with Center City. Nearby Wissahickon Valley Park and Roxborough add extensive green space and additional neighborhood destinations.
