Mount Laurel is a large Burlington County township containing numerous residential neighborhoods, office centers, hotels, shopping areas, parks, and recreational facilities. Its location near several major highways has helped make it an important employment and commercial center in western Burlington County.

Routes 38 and 73 run through the township, while Route 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike provide connections toward Philadelphia and destinations throughout New Jersey. Laurel Acres Park is a major local recreation area with trails, fields, and open space. Nearby Moorestown and Marlton provide additional shopping and dining options.
