New London Township is a rural and residential community in southern Chester County near Oxford and the Maryland border. The township combines established neighborhoods with farms, wooded areas, open space, and country roads representative of the landscape found throughout this portion of Chester County.

Routes 896 and nearby Route 1 provide connections toward Oxford, West Grove, Kennett Square, and northern Maryland. Parks, preserved land, agricultural properties, and small communities characterize the surrounding region, while larger shopping and employment centers are accessible in nearby towns throughout southern Chester County.
