Nicetown-Tioga is a North Philadelphia community located around Broad Street and the major transportation corridors north of Center City. Traditional rowhomes, residential blocks, commercial streets, institutional properties, and former industrial sites make up much of the neighborhood’s urban landscape.

SEPTA’s Broad Street Line provides rapid transit service through the area, while Roosevelt Boulevard and Germantown Avenue offer additional connections throughout Philadelphia. Hunting Park and nearby recreation areas provide green space, and Temple University, North Broad Street, and several major employment and medical centers are located in surrounding neighborhoods.
