Northern Liberties is a Philadelphia neighborhood located immediately north of Center City and south of Fishtown. Once heavily industrial, the area now combines historic rowhomes and converted industrial buildings with newer apartments, townhomes, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues.

Second Street serves as one of the neighborhood’s principal commercial corridors, while Liberty Lands provides a central community green space. SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line is accessible at Spring Garden Station, connecting the area with Center City and Northeast Philadelphia. The Delaware River waterfront and attractions around Penn’s Landing are also nearby.
