Parkwood is a residential neighborhood in Philadelphia’s Far Northeast near the Bucks County border. Much of the area was developed during the postwar expansion of Northeast Philadelphia and features residential streets with rowhomes, twins, and other housing types alongside parks and neighborhood commercial areas.

Poquessing Creek forms part of the natural landscape near the neighborhood, while Philadelphia Mills provides extensive shopping and entertainment nearby. Route 1, Woodhaven Road, and I-95 provide regional transportation connections toward Center City and Lower Bucks County.
