Pocopson Township is a Chester County community located southwest of West Chester in the Brandywine Valley. The township is characterized by rolling countryside, residential properties, farmland, wooded areas, and preserved open space, giving it a more rural landscape than many of the county’s eastern suburbs.

The Brandywine Creek and surrounding natural areas contribute to the township’s scenic setting, while Routes 52 and 842 connect Pocopson with West Chester, Kennett Square, and nearby communities.
