Tacony is a Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood along the Delaware River, with a history closely tied to manufacturing, transportation, and riverfront industry. Traditional rowhomes, twins, commercial streets, historic buildings, and former industrial properties make up much of the neighborhood.

Torresdale Avenue serves as a major commercial corridor, while Tacony Station provides SEPTA Regional Rail service toward Center City. The Tacony-Palmyra Bridge connects the neighborhood directly with Burlington County, New Jersey. Parks and expanding riverfront trails provide recreation along the Delaware River corridor.
