Torresdale is a Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood located along the Delaware River near the Bucks County border. Residential streets contain a mix of detached homes, twins, rowhomes, and historic properties, with sections of the neighborhood reflecting a lower-density development pattern than many areas closer to Center City.

Torresdale Avenue and Frankford Avenue provide commercial and transportation connections, while I-95 offers regional highway access. SEPTA Regional Rail service is available from Torresdale Station. The Delaware River and nearby Pennypack Creek provide natural features and recreation throughout the surrounding area.
