Washington Square West is a Center City Philadelphia neighborhood stretching west from Washington Square toward Broad Street. Historic rowhomes, apartments, restaurants, shops, theaters, and tree-lined streets create a dense urban neighborhood within walking distance of many of Philadelphia’s central destinations.

Washington Square anchors the eastern portion of the neighborhood, while Midtown Village and the Gayborhood contain active restaurant, nightlife, and commercial districts. The Avenue of the Arts, Jefferson Station, Independence Hall, and Reading Terminal Market are nearby, and multiple SEPTA subway and bus routes serve the area.
